Moving in

Information about a particular allocated hall of residence and room will be available at iskam-web.vse.cz. The dormitory address can be found here.

The move-in will take place at the assigned hall of residence, where you will receive room keys at the reception and an entrance card to the building, if you are not a student of the Prague University of Economics and Business.

Move into the dormitory later than contractual start is possible but from the date of the contractual start, the student will be charged the dormitory fee.

In the ISKAM system, you must have a signed accommodation contract (manual) and there have to be paid rent for September and October (manual). Bring your ID card or passport.

After processing of requisites at the reception, you will receive the room keys. Bed linen is provided in the room.

As soon as you enter the room, check the room and its furnishings immediately for proper condition fit for use. Please record any defects in the ISKAM (manual).

When you move out, you must restore your room to its original condition. The room is handed over clean, including the facilities (kitchen and bathroom).

The room will be re-inspected by the maid at the time of the reservation for moving out of the room – according to the procedure, and only after its approval will the maid take the keys to the room. At the same time, inventory (lamp, bedding, etc.), room keys, dorm pass, and access card must be returned if borrowed. Also, ensure all your debts will be paid in ISKAM!).

The accommodation deposit can be requested to be sent back to the account listed in the ISKAM system or left in the account.

If the student cannot/will not be present to hand over the room to the maid, there is an option called Express check out ( fee according to the price list of services of each dormitory). When selecting this option, the student announces the date and time of their intention to leave the residence hall – as per procedure and is not bound by any maid hours or ticket entry rules.
If there is any discrepancy in room inventory, cleaning, etc., charges may be assessed according to the housing policy.

Before leaving the dormitory, lock the room, and close the balcony and windows. Then return the keys at the reception, or the entry card, and pay all your debts.
